What we do
Tivo8k is an independent IPTV provider. We supply access credentials to 50,000+ live television channels and 77,000+ films and series on demand, delivered over your broadband connection in 8K, 4K, Full HD and HD, from $15 with no contract.
We run our own server infrastructure and sell direct. That matters more than it sounds: when a server changes or a channel drops, the person who sold you the line is the person who fixes it. Most problems in this category come from the reseller layer, where the seller controls neither the infrastructure nor the remedy.
What we do not do
This section is longer than most competitors', which is the point.
- We do not host or produce media. We provide access to third-party streams. Our disclaimer and DMCA policy state that plainly rather than hiding it.
- We are not affiliated with any broadcaster or device manufacturer named on this site. Those names appear to indicate compatibility. All trademarks belong to their owners.
- We do not publish a star rating. A number typed into our own page by us is not evidence, and self-serving review markup is a structured-data policy violation besides.
- We do not sell lifetime subscriptions. Servers cost money every month. A provider taking a single payment for permanent access has no revenue to honour it.
- We do not gate quality behind a premium tier. Every plan carries the identical channel list and the identical resolution. Only the duration changes.
- We do not store your card or set up recurring billing. You pay once for a period and it ends.
What we will not claim
Three things we could say and other pages in this category routinely do:
- That most content is 8K. It is not. Very few broadcasters transmit at 8K anywhere in the world. Most of what you watch will be 4K or Full HD, and our 8K guide explains exactly how little native 8K exists.
- That the service can never be interrupted. Some internet providers block streaming endpoints around live sport. We can move you to a different server; we cannot promise a blocked match will always play.
- That IPTV is right for everyone. If your broadband is unreliable, or you only watch on-demand boxsets, or you need television during an outage, other options serve you better. We say so on the cable comparison.
How we write
Our guide to free IPTV recommends Pluto TV, Tubi and Samsung TV Plus by name, and ends by saying that if Tivo8k is not worth $15 to you, install Pluto TV instead. Our article on legality states that some European jurisdictions do pursue individual viewers. Our buying guide lists seven tests and then applies all seven to us, including the ones we do not win outright.
None of that sells a subscription this afternoon. All of it is true, and a page that only sells is a page nobody links to, cites or comes back to. Nothing on this site is sponsored and nothing is an affiliate placement.
How to check any of this
- Take the free trial. Full service, no card, no account. Ten minutes of watching beats any page.
- Test at peak time. A Saturday evening during a live match, when every server in the category is loaded.
- Message support before you buy and time the reply. It is the most predictive signal available to you.
- Ask us an awkward question. Which specific channels are not included. What happens when a stream is blocked. We will answer it.
