The headline package price is rarely what people actually pay. Box rental is charged per television, so a three-set household pays it three times, and regional sports fees appear on the bill whether or not anyone watches sport. Those two lines alone often add $30 a month.

Where cable genuinely wins
Four rows in that table go to cable, and any comparison that omits them is selling rather than explaining.
It works when the internet does not
The most important one. A cable or aerial signal is independent of your broadband, so a router failure or an outage leaves television working. IPTV stops entirely. For a household where somebody relies on the television during a disruption, that is not a small consideration.
Local and regional channels are guaranteed
