What we provide
Tivo8k provides access to third-party media streams delivered over the internet, together with an electronic programme guide and an on-demand catalogue. We supply access credentials. We do not host, produce, own, encode or broadcast any of the media content itself, and we do not control what any third-party source carries or when it changes.
Your subscription
A subscription runs for the fixed period you paid for and then ends. There is no contract, no minimum term beyond the period purchased and no automatic renewal. We do not store your payment details and nothing is charged to you unless you place a new order.
Activation and delivery
Credentials are issued electronically, normally within minutes of confirmed payment, and are delivered through the messaging channel you ordered from. Because delivery is immediate and digital, the subscription period begins on issue rather than on first use.
Connections and devices
Unless you have purchased additional connections, one subscription permits 1 simultaneous stream. You may install a player on as many devices as you wish and sign in on any of them, but concurrent streams above your allowance may be interrupted or suspended.
Acceptable use
You may not resell, share or publish your credentials, and you may not redistribute, rebroadcast or publicly perform any stream. Credentials found in public circulation will be terminated without refund.
Service availability
We target 99.9% availability and operate multiple servers with failover, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Streams originate from third parties and may change, be renamed or cease without notice. Scheduled maintenance is kept short and is normally announced in advance.
Your connection
Streaming quality depends on your own internet connection, which we do not control. The published bandwidth requirements are minimums. Problems caused by your connection, your local network or your internet provider are outside what we can resolve, though we will always help diagnose them.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate a subscription for credential sharing, redistribution, chargeback abuse or attempts to interfere with the service. Where termination is for breach, no refund is due. You may stop using the service at any time; because there is no recurring billing, no cancellation step is required.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid for the current subscription period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed events or lost time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date shown on this page and will not be applied retrospectively to a subscription period already paid for.
