Before you start

• A Samsung or LG Smart TV from roughly 2016 onward
• Your M3U URL (Smart IPTV does not take Xtream Codes logins)
• A phone or computer to use the upload portal

7 Steps To A Working Channel List

1. Install the app

   Open your television's app store — Samsung Apps on Tizen, LG Content Store on webOS — and search for Smart IPTV. Install it and open it once.

2. Write down your MAC address

   On first launch the app displays a MAC address and the portal URL. Write the MAC address down exactly, including the colons. This is the identifier your playlist gets attached to.

3. Open the upload portal

   On a phone or computer, go to the portal address shown on your television screen. There is no account and no password — the MAC address is the key.

4. Enter the MAC and your playlist URL

   Type in the MAC address from your television, then paste the M3U URL we sent you. Give the playlist a name if the portal asks for one, and submit.

5. Restart the app on the TV

   Close Smart IPTV completely on the television and reopen it. It fetches the playlist you just uploaded. If it still shows the MAC screen, the upload has not registered — check the MAC for a typo.

6. Activate if prompted

   Smart IPTV offers a seven-day trial and then asks for a small one-off activation fee tied to that MAC address. It is a single payment to the app developer, entirely separate from your subscription.

7. Set the buffer

   In the app settings, reduce the buffer if channels are slow to start. Samsung and LG televisions have less processing headroom than a dedicated box, so a smaller buffer usually feels better.
